Pacific Western Toronto Salutes Front Line Workers
Pacific Western Toronto, in partnership with Turbo Images and Prevost, is thrilled to unveil our five newly wrapped Prevost H3-45 Motorcoaches, in honour of Front Line Workers. The imagery is a testament to not only our own drivers who are on the front lines every day, but to all front line staff, whether at the check-out counter at the grocery store or in intensive care at the hospital.
Of course, the interior of the coaches is also getting our full attention to ensure the ultimate Safety of our very important passengers on-board. Since recognition of the health threat by the World Health Organization, Pacific Western has been doing everything in our power to mitigate risks and have implemented new safety protocols and cleaning procedures within our operations, on our coaches, and for our passengers and staff. Our first Core Value of Safety was at the forefront of everyone’s mind as we extended our Safely Home brand into our Safely Clean program, which was developed to ensure the health and safety of everyone from preparing coaches, to loading luggage, to boarding passengers, onboard, disembarking, and right up until we get everyone Safely Home. Some of the cleaning procedures introduced include industry-leading, state-of-the-art electrostatic sprayers that safely release disinfectants and sanitizers into the air to completely cover every inch of a surface resulting in a more complete clean.
Using the exterior of the coach for this messaging wasn’t a difficult decision for the three parties involved. Pacific Western’s history with Prevost spans decades, with Prevost Motorcoaches being the exclusive brand we use across the entire company. Turbo Images, who designed and installed the imagery was also a natural fit in the partnership to make this vision become a reality. Collectively, we feel this is a very important message during this critical time.
“We are currently all participants in the making of history. Our pandemic challenge, and its global effects across societies and economies, will be studied by students in the future. They will learn about the heroes and heroines of the pandemic, and they will be aghast with the behaviors of the detractors,” says Matthew Cox, Vice President Motorcoach. “Along with our partners, Pacific Western has chosen to recognize the good in humanity by celebrating the frontline heroes and heroines.”
