Reporting directly to the Lead Hand, the Groomer is responsible for cleaning all vehicles dedicated to Pacific Western Transportation. The Groomer will ensure that all work performed is consistent with that of a world class operation and will constantly seek to improve the value offering through increased quality service while constantly seeking uncompromised ways of obtaining efficiencies.

Daily activities entail:

Interior cleaning of vehicles
  • All surfaces are free of debris, dust, dirt and visible litter
  • Surfaces shall present a uniform, clean, smooth surface free from all discolouration and marks
  • Glass and clear plastic shall always be clean and transparent
  • All surfaces shall be free of cleaning solution, water or residue
  • All interior chrome shall be smooth polished and free of all discoloration and marks
  • Surfaces shall show no streaks, water marks, or skipped areas due to improper mopping
  • All debris shall be removed and placed in the appropriate recyclable containers
Exterior cleaning of vehicles
  • All exterior surfaces shall be washed and free and clear of water marks
  • All fluid levels will be checked and topped up ensuring fluid levels always remain at optimum levels
  • Dumping and cleaning of Lavatory system
  • Any other duties that may be required
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and presentable facility

To be a candidate, you must be 18 years of age or older, with no criminal record. Prior cleaning experience is an asset.
