York Lions Team Bus Unveiled
York University themed bus makes campus debut
Toronto, November 25, 2010 - Pacific Western Transportation helped introduce the new York University Lions team bus to a large group of the University's student-athletes and representatives. Pacific Western Transportation provides motor coach charter services for a number of York Lions teams, to locations such as: Guelph, Ottawa and Kingston. The York University Sports & Recreation department unveiled the new team bus following a special event recognizing the York Lions Men's Soccer Team on their 2010 Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championship (CIS).
The York Lions team bus wrap was designed by York University and features dynamic images of current York Lions student-athletes from six different sports. The new ride is virtually impossible to miss considering the use of the prominent York Lions logo and striking red colour scheme. The bus also carries a simple, yet clear message to fans and opponents with the words "Hear us Roar" along its side.
The York Lions team bus will be operated by Pacific Western Transportation to transport a variety of York University teams to games, tournaments and special events throughout their respective seasons. The themed bus will begin Friday November 26th by transporting the York Lions Men's and Women's Basketball teams to St. Catharines to play Brock University.
