BusRide Magazine's Bus Wrap Design Competition

November 17th 2008, Toronto- Pacific Western Transportation has been declared the winner of the 2008 Bus Ride Magazine/Oracle USA Bus Wrap Competition. The competition consisted of several bus wrap design entries from all across North America. Visitors to the Bus Ride Magazine site were asked to vote for their favourite design by viewing profile images uploaded by entrants. The Pacific Western Transportation entry received a total of 2,872 votes, an astonishing 600 votes greater then the next closest competitor. The winning design can also be seen on a daily basis, draping the company’s Toronto Airport Express fleet. Toronto Airport Express is a dedicated scheduled run transportation service, which operates between Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International Airport and popular downtown Toronto hotels. The dynamic design was installed by Turbo Graphics of Saint-Georges, Quebec. The design was prompted by the redesign and re-launch of the Toronto Airport Express service earlier this year on May 1st. The bold yellow design was installed on a brand new fleet of environmentally conscious motor coaches; replacing an original charcoal grey colour scheme. The design was intended to illustrate the vitality of the service and the many individuals responsibility for delivering the service to clients on a consistent basis.
